One problem with the “purging” verbiage is that these people (Holder, Lerner, et al) are already in “us verses them” mode as they try to maintain at the very least their pensions. If they hear from the proletariat enough of a hew and cry for their heads on a platter (literally or at least jail time) and come to believe that it is a possibility, they will become even more entrenched and violent as they now perceive they are defending their very lives.
So it is counter-productive to have us folk write or even imply that extreme retribution will be visited upon said gubmint folk. Let the payback solution be administered in due time but let it be a surprise.
My concern is exactly what happened. Time has a way of making even the most damning cases fade away.
We have been fundamentally changed as a nation.
Time to fundamentally change back.
