AUSTIN, Texas — The wife of a jogger who was slashed to death on a popular Dallas hiking trial this month has died of an apparent suicide, police said on Monday, nearly two weeks after the killing in which a former Texas A&M football player has been charged.

I must be one cold human, because I cannot imagine killing myself after a loved one dies.

It’s one thing if a loved one dies; it’s probably something much different to imagine the utter horror of his last moments of life at the hands of that animal.
