Yep - our son has cancer and when he had to stop working last year, lost his work coverage because COBRA was so high for it. He ended up on Obama Care (hospital actually paid 3 months premiums because the return was so great compared to him having no coverage).

He just got word that his premiums have gone up 50% and his deductibles have doubled -- that's what serves as "progress in the right direction" to the Obamacare-ites.

Since he's on SS disability, I imagine his hit isn't as bad as those who can still work.

That’s tough and my heart goes out to your family.

My son had cancer that we found when he was 3 months old. Now he’s 36 and doing well. Tough hoe for many years. Hang in there and God bless you all.
