United’s management is currently outsourcing all the ground service functions and if actual experienced employees want to stay, they have to take a $2/hr pay cut along with benefits reductions.
The result looks like this. The contract employees typically are third world immigrants who would have a hard time passing a SIDA clearance background check if it weren’t for the fact that they come from countries where there are no records.
Fly the friendly skies. If you dare.
I will never fly again, never.
Thanks for the info. Now United is dead to me.
TRUE STORY:
My new bride and I were scheduled to “fly the friendly skies” departing at 7:30am for Hawaii. Upon checking in our baggage we were told the pilots/crew “over-slept” and the next flight would be four hours later.
We had one scheduled plane change and that turned into two which made us lose a whole day off of our honeymoon.
We didn’t get squat from them, even with the Latin Drama my wife gave. We’ll never fly them ever again and I hope they eventually go belly up soon.
This is a story about a flight attendant or crew member that screwed up. Not about airline that doesn’t care passengers with physical issues. I fly about 100 times a year. Every flight I see wheelchairs going up and down the ramp helping passengers as much as possible.
Now forward to the most idiotic statements possible:
“Typical United Airlines service.”
“Fly the friendly skies. If you dare.”
“I will never fly on UA / Continental again.”
You all have to be trolls. Real people with general reasoning skills do not think this way. Save this stuff for DU.
