Stabbing attack near Kiryat Arba

An Arab terrorist on Monday morning conducted a stabbing attack near Kiryat Arba, located adjacent to Hevron in Judea.

The terrorist has been shot dead, and his 19-year-old victim was seriously wounded after being stabbed in the neck.

The victim was evacuated by Magen David Adom (MDA) medics to Shaare Tzedek Hospital in Jerusalem for treatment. He was admitted in a serious and unstable condition, on artificial respiration and anesthetized.

Monday morning's stabbing took place at the junction outside the Arab village of Bayt Einun, located just north of Kiryat Arba.

he city has been a flashpoint in the recent wave of Arab terrorism, with several stabbings recorded in Kiryat Arba over the course of the month.

Just earlier on Monday morning Arab rioters threw rocks at the road connecting Kiryat Arba with Hevron's Cave of Machpelah, where the Jewish patriarchs and matriarchs other than Rachel are buried.

IDF forces snapped into action, blocking the rioters from reaching the road.

We were in Kiryat Arba doing some banking, just as the scuttlebutt began to circulate. Per said gossip, the victim was apparently a soldier.

I used to see soldiers carrying M-16s with two magazines strapped to the outside of the weapon. Haven’t observed lately, but I can only hope that that foolishness is now over.

I’d rather think that either man would be too prudent to make such a statement.

America is here to serve America’s interests, which include cheap gasoline and heating oil. While Israel appreciates any help that it can get from anyone, including America, that fact about America must always be taken into account. The unlamented Obama era, just ended by January 2017, is merely a symptom of that unavoidable fact.

Consequently, our inner circle of allies has to be other eastern minority countries such as India, Armenia, South Sudan, Cyprus, Coptia (yet to be established), Syrio-Christia (ditto) and possibly Greater Kurdistan (tritto), although America remains a good friend.
