Everyone is being paid the same, regardless.

It’s not a minimum wage - it’s the wage.

You are dripping with jealousy. Kinda funny that you hoped for this company failed just because you don’t agree with their ways. Sad that treating workers with respect is such a foreign concept to you. Doesn’t matter what you think about me. The proof is you are losing in this discussion and it pisses you off. HAHA.

You clearly are a dictator who hates any company that shows some freedom to do as they wish. Socialism should not be used in government. This company is privately owned.

Oh just like you screamed and hollared when Seattle put their minimum wage to 15 dollars and said Seattle will destruct. Oh brother do you know how to load the crap. I don’t see Seattle a disaster nor do I see this PRIVATE company being a disaster. Perhaps you just like to complain to anyone who has it a little better then you do.

if he had to leverage everything he has including his houses to do this then he is a moron. And the company will not last.

Your response confirms that you do, in fact, have a screw loose. Not once did I say anything about mistreating employees. And I never once said I "hoped" for this company to fail. What I did say was that basic economics would not support this guy's naive efforts in the long run. Sad you feel like you have to make things up to make your point. My point is about economic facts, not about a "feel good" story. As a business owner most of my life, with a business degree, I can tell you that this guy's approach to running his operation is admirable but not sustainable in the long run.

This all sounds good in soundbites in the media that this guy is shaking up the business world by paying all of his employees $70,000, but the real story is how he is doing it. To keep his approach working, he has had to mortgage two of his houses, he's renting out his own house to make ends meet and he's sold all of his stock assets. He's operating just like the government does with money he doesn't have and/or can't sustain. And he can't borrow the money or print it like the government does.

Once you start cutting off your arms and legs, there won't be many body parts left for you to cut off, before this whole sham goes up in smoke. Only idiots like this "CEO" and those idiots in the liberal media, who don't have a clue how real economics works, think this is a real "progressive" way to conduct business.

This reminds me of the chapter in Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" about the 20th Century Motor Corp. and how that company went down the tubes after the socialist-bent kids of the founder, who inherited the company, decided everyone should earn the same salary, no matter what their contribution or effort at the company. It didn't take long before the fallacy of that utopian dream became a reality and the company went out of business, laying off the entire employee work force when it did. Epic fail.

I read your mess of a response. First of all you have no crystal ball that this company will fail. In fact, our country would be better off if more companies VOLUNTEERED to do this. Your just snotty mad because it has shown success. You are so bitter that you can’t help but be negative on all good. Whatever.....you are wrong. By the way, if you are so good at guessing, why didn’t you see that the conservatives couldn’t even come up with one candidate to run for House leader. Talk about a disgrace.

Green with envy is not pretty. Sorry your life is such a disaster. It sucks but it’s your fault. Maybe if you had chosen better at the beginning you’d be a success like many of us on Free Republic. Sorry. What can I say? Losers gonna lose.

Thanks...I know there is a wide spectrum of opinion on various things on FR, but I thought with respect to this it would be a bit narrower...this surprises me.

I am now a dictator? The market dictates success or failure. Be fruitful socialist fascists. Show your true valor, by ignoring capitalism. Yet, regardless- this is a credit sourcing company, that is well tied to government resources and service. Ever been in business, naps?
