The U.S. Department of Justice issued a memo on Thursday containing new guidelines stating that it will pursue the prosecution of individual employees, and not just their companies, for their role in precipitating the financial crisis in 2008.
Many have wondered why the DOJ has not previously made the prosecution of these individuals a priority while the Department has entered into multi-billion dollar settlements with the nation's largest banks in the last two years.

You can start with Clintonista’s Jamie Gorelick and Franklin Raines. They received 10’s of millions in bonuses pumping Freddie and Fannie. I don’t think they will get the main players because it was a who’s who of connected rats to include Barney Frank’s boyfriend (should have been a clear conflict of interest.....).
FWIW - I thought the statute of limitations was expired, but there is little doubt they painted rosy numbers to obtain bonuses and these fabrications made the problem worse and left the taxpayers on the hook for trillions.

This is just another way to destroy either the left’s political enemies and/or a round about way to punish conservative organizations or individuals.
This may have been prompted by Bernake’s comment that nobody went to jail for the financial crisis, but methinks it’s another excuse to do what they wanted to do anyway.
Time will tell.

So, we’ll see what Ms. Lynch tries to do .. and how far she gets in her plan to destroy the Repubs.
Four years later. Good! This tends to show that Trump and Cruz and their DOJ will be able to go after Holder, Lerner, Clinton, Clapper, Koskinen, etc.
