Does anyone have a list of Hollywood Republicans, modern ones and those of Old Hollywood?

I know a few like Gary Cooper and Barbara Stanwyck etc.

I’ve always been curious, it seems Hollywood in general has always been overwhelmingly Leftist.

Chuck has been down with The Huckster from the beginning.

I say we should elect Tom Sellneck president. After all, he’s done a pretty good job as NYPD police chief. ;)

Why are opinions of people who play act for a living important or even noteworthy?

Chuck Norris was probably approached by Huckabee very early in the race, and thus obligated to his exclusive support.
I can definitely see Mike on the phone saying ‘Chuck, You gave me your word that I would have your support. Why are you walking the public support back now that I need it? Doesn’t sound very Christian to me!”

When you get kicked in the head as a job, you tend to make some bizzarre statements from the resulting loss of cognition.

Huckabee has the moral clarity of a pet rock, half the popularity of a pet rock in 2015 and none of the qualities that make owning a pet rock an attractive proposition.

Who is Rick Harrison, a TV actor? Somebody’s son or husband?
I don’t watch much television these days.

The one that bums me out the most is Rick Harrison.

Come on, Rick... Marco is a non-starter.

He is on the show Pawn Stars on History Channel.

Good show, good guy, stupid choice of candidates.

This is why I never get excited when one of these Hollywood types claims to be a Republican. It just goes to show that being Republican doesn’t necessarily translate into being conservative. It’s more like being a democrat that leans a bit to the right. But just a bit.

That has nothing to do with my comment, but thanks. Btw, it was the Republican party insiders who convoluted, undermined and subverted that party. Not play actors with political opinions.

He did a fantastic job in Paradise, Maine, too.

He has good political views:

“I prefer libertarian. I’m a registered independent with a lot of libertarian leanings [but] I think we should have stoplights, fire departments, and [a] strategic missile defense.”

Selleck is also a long-time member of the National Rifle Association and has taken some flak for this. On the Rosie O’Donnell show, Selleck unexpectedly found himself the target of O’Donnell’s liberal agenda and put in a position where O’Donnell clearly wanted him to defend legal gun ownership. Selleck, though, in classic libertarian fashion, said:

“We all agree we need to solve social problems. My leanings tend toward individualist solutions.”

Beyond that, Selleck has asserted the libertarian viewpoint, saying:

“The 20th century has been a collectivist century. We’ve had this global experiment, and we’re starting to see the end of the chain letter. I say let’s try new things. It’s just time to reassess things and say that maybe this idea of the common good has to be translated through the individual.”

“Just a waste of key strokes to even print this.”

I disagree. The left fully understands that control of the media and the arts has huge propaganda value, and have controlled the message far too long.

Conservatives in Hollywood are actually quoted, saying liberals are vindictive, we’ve gotta be quiet, be careful, ooh, we’re quaking in fear.
Other conservatives are talking about using their talents to make videos and programs promoting conservative values, even anti-Hillary films.
Hollywood power brokers who voted for Obama twice—now saying they’re appalled at his lawlessness? Saying we’re losing our country, it’s time to take it back? And you think this item shouldn’t have been posted?
You must not have read the story.

Kelsey Grammer is the only one I know of for sure. I know he’s republican, not sure if he’s Conservative.
