Because no drug is mentioned my guess is pot.
I used to smoke pot years ago. Never had the desire to plow into a crowd of people, though.
Pot wouldn’t make you do something like this. You don’t get disconnected like that on pot.

She may have been on one the “synthetic cannabis” concoctions, Spice or K2, that are out there. But those are as similar to weed as heroin is similar to a cough drop. They are lab mixed chemicals that supposedly mimic marijuana by stimulating the same brain receptors. But they are not at all the same as “pot”. In fact they’ve been concocted and marketed to fool people into thinking they’re a legal form of marijuana. Very dangerous stuff reportedly inducing heart arrhythmia, extreme hypertension, hallucinations, and at least one reported death by overdose.
however, I don't know about drugs like ambien....
