Yes, and I was also thinking of Kim Davis who wouldn’t sign gay wedding licenses. She didn’t get much governmental support.

Seems to me one should fulfill the assignments of one’s job or change jobs.

Kim Davis was elected to uphold the state laws of Kentucky.
The Kentucky State Constitution states that marriage is between a man and a woman.
Kim Davis was fulfilling the requirements of her job.

The Supreme Court, meanwhile, issued an OPINION that the legislative branch of the US government ought to spend some time crafting a new law.

Kim Davis was put in jail even though there was never any law that she might have broken.

Sure she did. They supported her with handcuffs and let her rot in jail for 6 days. What more support did she need?/sarc Christians need to start fighting back. The BIble says not to sue another brother or sister, but, these people are NOT brothers and sisters in Christ.
