A quote, sadly true..
Bill Buckley said of Connecticut, “as a long time resident of this state, I’ve come to the conclusion that Connecticut is politically retarded.”

Connecticut was such a nice place to grow up, in the '50s and '60s. Now, going back to the town where I grew up is upsetting. It's a nearly unliveable mess. It seems that even the small areas that stayed nice are getting dragged down.

The really sad thing is so many places are making the same mistakes that were made in CT.

Ganim recently won the Democratic primary and now faces six opponents on Nov. 3. He says he still reaps residual good will from minority communities who've felt neglected by other mayors.

cripes. looks good for him ?
