God expects us to fight evil. You seem to be lacking in that area.
Ill vote third party. I like Trump a lot. Hes a God send. But I could never vote for him because he does not fear God.
You should never say Trump is a “God send” again.
Let’s go on and make it right sounds like repentance to me.
That’s a good thing.
Hey, I like that Phil. Good one.
Well stated
Thank you Jane. Glad we agree on this.
Thank you Grania.
Thank you for your note of agreement, and I agree with you regarding BlackFemaleArmyCaptain.
Thank you for your thoughts.
If Cruz is as capable as Trump, why aren’t they 50/50 right now?
If Trump is at 32 and Cruz is at 7, doesn’t that tell you anything?
They aren’t equally capable when it comes to campaigning. If they were, Cruz would actually be ahead of Trump.
You address his long term Conservative stance. He should be leading if he’s as capable to connect as Trump.
Cruz is more of a long-term kind of guy, whereas I see Trump as great at playing the short-game. Easy to rile folks up and get them talking, but will he still be able to do it in January? February? If he comes up short in Iowa, will his support start to crumble? It’s tough to say. Again, I have no idea where Trump will stand tomorrow. Cruz I do know will stand strong for conservatism tomorrow, next month, next year, and as long as there’s a breath in his body. I’ve seen him take the entire federal government, media and Republican establishment on in an effort to do everything in his possible power to stop Obamacare.
Who is leadership? That’s McConnell. And he didn’t just tell Levin. He said it on the senate floor for all the public to know about. www.politico.com/story/2015/07/ted-cruz-says-mitch-mcconnell-lies-export-import-bank-120583
As far as TPA/TPP and the Corker bill, those as much more complex than how simplistic you are making them sound. A lot of people conflate TPA and TPP when they were very different things. The argument can be made both ways for what Cruz did in both of those situations and the other side. Whereas you compare this to something like Trump’s support of socialized medicine... I do not see his argument at all. The issue of TPA is peanuts compared to socialized medicine.
As for the visa issue, that’s a problem and I won’t deny that. I have expressed my frustration with him on that issue. Still, I ultimately have less of a problem with legal immigration of skilled workers, especially with Cruz as president (rather than, say, Obama) than I do with illegal immigration both ongoing and people that are here illegally.
“Who is leadership?”
“Leadership” is the term used by Cruz, himself, when he was interviewed by Mark Levin and tried to explain why he voted for TPA. He stated that “leadership” promised to add a clause to the TPA bill that would require any changes in our immigration law to be done by Congress only, rather than the coming TPP. So Cruz went ahead and gave “leadership” a blank check and voted for TPA, which will enable TPP later this year. “Leadership”, of course, lied and did not do that.
Cruz called McConnell a liar over his promise about the ExportImport bill.
Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh call the Corker bill a disaster.
Trump does NOT support socialized medicine.
Skilled immigrants are documented taking American skilled workers (STEM) jobs. There are no shortages of American STEM workers. Disney forced their American workers to train their foreign replacements. One of them is supposed to testify before Congress shortly.
He absolutely does support socialized medicine. Government is Trump’s solution to everything. He wants to take care of you, me, the veterans, and everyone. And we’ll pay for it.

Trump: “Everybody’s got to be covered [...] I am going to take care of everybody. [...] the government’s going to pay for it.”
It’s easy to get confused about where Trump stands since he has no principles, but these are his words. I don’t know about you, but I don’t need or want a president to “take care of me”. Now, look, I’m not a typical Trump basher. I know enough about him to conclude he is a decent man. I will vote for him if he wins the primary. This is a big deal, however. He doesn’t deserve support of any true conservatives.
I stand by all of my statements. May God bless you FRiend.
1.) “He absolutely does support socialized medicine.”
2.) Everybodys got to be covered”
Statement number 2 does not force statement number 1.
He made it clear, the context was, when he uttered statement number 2, and I did hear him say it, that he was referring to people who could not afford health care. Medicaid today largely takes care of people who cannot afford medical care. And, he said he would use the free market to establish a better health care system.
Here in Louisiana we used to have what was called a charity hospital system - large hospitals in the 7 or 8 large cities. They offered free medical care for those who could not afford it, paid for by the Louisiana government. Jindal succeeded in getting rid of them. (Jindal also cut 700 billion dollars from higher education, and about 300 million from vocational education).
If you are a Christian you know that there is nothing you can do to make our Holy God whole. Every sin is cosmic treason against Him and alleged efforts to compensate for our sins makes things even worse. Repentance is not “making things right”, it’s turning away from sin and hating it. God makes things right with sinners by the perfectly worthy sacrifice of His son Jesus.
I read it as repentance.
Only God knows what’s in his heart.
Just to clarify, I am a Trump supporter.
We know that!:)
And may God bless you, too.
