That the Russians are totalitarian thugs who might be beating up on someone we might agree needs beating up, they are not our friends, and they are not the friends of anyone else who might not want to live in a thugocracy.

Putin and his ilk don’t change their spots.

Yeah, well... but at least Putin is looking out for his country and his people, unlike *cough* Obama/Dems/GOPe *cough* here in the U.S. You might see a totalitarian thug but obviously the Russian people see a leader who’s probably the greatest Russian leader since Peter the Great.
