we allowed most people the dignity of dying

It is never about dignity it is always about when the state gets to kill you.

There's several million Evangelicals determined to vote for this man.

They don't care about the future of the nation, they just want to vote for "Gentle Ben.

Because, essentially, they are stupid.

One thing about allowing “guest workers” is that they get counted in the census, which tips the numbers for Congress Critters to get elected.

It also allows them more elector in the electoral college. States like California and Florida and even Texas have huge illegal populations that actually get to vote via the electoral college.

Tennessee farm country loves them. Even though we are not officially a sanctuary state, our law enforcement won’t touch them and our local farm organizations push to keep them here. It’s sickening. They break into houses and steal anything not nailed down but the law looks the other way. I want them all gone.

"As a practical matter, it will take a huge bureaucracy to process a mass deportation effort. You can bet the Left and the Chamber of Commerce will be providing legal assistance to fight these deportations. "

IF a willful and determined Executive (not unlike Obama BTW) acts rapidly and ignores the courts, he could have it done in less than a year.

At least the heavy lifting part.

Illegal immigration is not the only problem with Carson.

How can a Seventh Day Adventist Church Elder whose faith teaches its members to be Pacifists and only occupy non combatant roles in the military be an effective Commander in Chief?

He is apparently more radical than many of his supporters realize. This week he attended a dinner in honor of Al Sharpton and Carson was quoted as saying that he and Al have a lot of the same goals.

He supports Louis Farrakhan and is promoting the idea of him being a public policy leader in Chicago.

He wants to abolish Social Security and Medicare.

He supports fetal tissue research and does not acknowledge that life begins at conception.

These things and others are valid concerns that voters need to think about.

Carson’s Temper

Ben Carson “had a temper so violent that he would attack other children, even his mother, Sonya Carson, at the slightest provocation.” His mother worked as a maid, sometimes holding two or even three jobs to support her family. Carson, in his interview with the American Academy of Achievement, recalled trying to hit his mother over the head with a hammer because of a disagreement over what clothes he should wear. In a dispute with a classmate over a locker, he cut a three-inch gash in the other boy’s head. At the age of 14, Carson nearly stabbed a friend to death because the boy had changed the radio station. He said he prayed to God to help him and started reading Proverbs to overcome this terrible temper.

My biggest concern, though, is with Carson’s proposal eventually to establish criteria for illegal immigrants becoming “citizens. . .down the road if they’ve done things the right way.” By definition, those who are here illegally have not “done things the right way.” They should be barred from becoming U.S. citizens.
Can somebody tell me again why this clown is still considered a legitimate candidate for President at all, much less for the Republican nomination?

ok ok - I’ll walk back my comments. I don’t agree with Carson on immigration. I certainly do not agree with his position that people in cities do not need semi-auto weapons. I agree he is willing to associate with people that he should not - at all.

And after reviewing his history I would say he has the same problem as Trump - until recently he was left of center.

So that leaves Cruz.

“I think Trump is possibly a fraud. I prefer Cruz. But I can happily vote for Carson.”

Trump is *definitely* a fraud. Carson is a goof.

There’s only one conservative in the race, and once people get past their “stick it to the Man” fantasies, they’ll see that Cruz is the only choice.

Affirmative Action by the Republican electorate. They don’t like it elsewhere, but man a certain white voter type just starts salivating every time there’s a black person with an “R” by their name.

Does that mean that people that came in illegally and have not broken any laws (what`s wrong with that picture) that they would go ahead of people that have waited and waited to come in legally?

This idea that you cant send people back? Why not just one at a time as they are discovered? Same idea if you are stopped by police and you have unpaid fines, they take you in until someone bails you out.

They should be able to discover during that same time that a person might also be wanted for other crimes or if they are here illegally.

And as far as saying it`s unloving to send people back...for sure it will be terrible for the families involved, but once/if they give amnesty to people that are here already , it will be just as painful and unloving for the ones that come illegally after all this amnesty is given.

My point is it`s always going to be painful for ones that are sent back. So assuming liberals get their way and amnesty is given to ones already here, by that same reasoning it will be just as painful for the ones that come illegally after the deals done.

So if people really believe it`s to unloving to send people back, they should be arguing for no borders and everybody should be allowed

I agree.. Make it impossible for them to survive here and they will go home.. They will self deport. Make it a federal crime Felony to be here and make Federal Law that says you can’t hire an illegal period. Federal Felony, Use E-varify no welfare no food stamps kids can’t go to school.. They will go home..

In the article, Carson did say the border needs to be sealed.

But he couldn't tell you what that means, since he opposes the border wall.
