I would like some pol to start talking about what needs to be done. I think due diligence is done. Too many are already starting to embrace persecution.

AMEN. Dr. Lion, this is not a game of marbles where votes are your playing pieces. A vote is only ever for something, ever. Even if it is for nixing a proposition (voting "against" a proposition). Voting "against" is a mathematical and material sophistry; it is entirely intent as opposed to action; the only action of voting is to vote for something.

If I decline to vote, as I did in the last California governors' race because there was no third party option and both R and D advocated for things I reject, I sat it out -- it was my duty. If there had been a third party option, my duty would have been to register that vote as a means to take away from any popular mandate the leftist R or D might get. In my heart I believe that as long as I am informed, I have a sacred duty to vote -- people shed blood for my right. Likewise, if I am ignorant about candidates or issues, my duty is to decline registering a vote. And my duty is also always to do what I can to weaken leftists, which is why now, after 35 years of defaulting to leftist Rs, I refuse to vote for them whether they are R or D.

I know this is a lot more than a game of marbles, thank you very much.

So you'll vote for leftism. I did it your way for 35 years before I figured out it was one step forward, two steps back.

Now I only vote for what I want to win. The ONLY thing I want to win is a mindset that says "better lives through less government."

Apparently, the only thing you want to win, is a Republican. Because you have never in your live voted "against" a friggin' thing.

I just think that we’re at the point to where if we don’t vote for the lesser evil after the primary/caucus process plays out, we’re going to lose all our freedoms as conservative people. Matters of religion and faith are of utmost importance to me. Another election or two won by liberals and Christians will be in the catacombs.

I’ve voted Third Party at the presidential and congressional levels and have considered staying home. But it’s getting late, IMO.
