It’s all based on evangelical Christian support when you read the internals.
The EV Christians need to realize that Cruz is their better choice. He has been through the fire of ACTUAL opposition. They word is they like Carson because he’s ‘nice’. I agree. He is.
Cruz, on the other hand, comes across as determined and uncompromising. The EV’s need to ask themselves what Carson will act like when he’s actually gone through the fire. If he doesn’t look determined and uncompromising, then he has folded.
Besides, both Cruz and Carson have to eventually go to some big money people to fund their campaign.
The choice is clear, Carson who is a bit wobbly on the Second Amendment, or Trump who is wholeheartedly behind it.
Carson is a nice guy, no question there. But as the saying goes, “does he have the fire in his belly?”
Compared to Trump, Carson has a nice, neat little campfire going, it keeps him and his supporters warm, and that too is a nice thing.
But Trump?
