Iowa caucus has a history of picking winners who almost never become the nominee. Trump should not throw in the towel based on ONE Iowa poll. He is still ahead over Carson in RCP averages in spite of this one Quinnipiac poll.
Iowa is easy to explain. Less than 5% of Iowan’s are caucus goers. Anybody can win Iowa caucus.
And if Trump still led in the Iowa polls, we’d be told he’s the inevitable next president.
