Never a thought given as to if it is right or ethical or even constitutional for the government to keep taking more and more money just because it is there.

IMHO the federal government is already sucking the lifeblood out of the US economy with the oppressive burden of their direct and indirect taxation.

It is not. However, the fact that it's not is irrelevant.

It is popular.
Large numbers of people will go out and vote for it.
It will pass.
Large numbers of Republicans will vote "aye".

Reaginism ain't coming back in my lifetime.

"It's a trap Scam!" ... The lies are designed to manipulate the stupid dependency class. Not one plan is ever explained as a way to float the current debt so the democrats can continue to buy off the dependenct sheeple, but that is what these schemes are really about. And of course, the plunge into bankruptcy and the end to the Republic looms larger with every new democrat leftist scheme. Cloward-Piven comes in many forms don'tchaknow.
