They’re stupid and they’re cowards. Not one of them has the guts to ever do anything that could actually reduce the government. It’s all about posturing and then devising strategies that are guaranteed not to work so that they can then turn around and say “It didn’t work. We tried our best but aww shucks, but we fell short. We’ll try again next year.”
