As usual, Donald Trumps latest comments are rankling at least one of his opponents. When you talk about George Bush, Trump said on Bloomberg TV on Friday morning, I mean, say what you want, the World Trade Center came down during his time. Challenged by anchor Stephanie Ruhle, he added, He was president, okay? . . . Blame him, or dont blame him, but he was president. The World Trade Center came down during his reign. On Twitter, Jeb Bush called Trumps comment pathetic, sparking a back-and-forth between the campaigns on social media.

I must confess that I didnt get the attacks on W at first and felt it was way over done. It’s all clear to me now and I salute DT for this most shrewd move. That said, call me a tin foiler but I do NOT believe 9/11 was about our freedom, support for Israel, or anything like that. I truly believe it was about the pipeline and who is in the way.
Or your pathetic attempt to make an issue of Trump's donations to pols of both parties as a businessman.
take trumpo down?? on an internet forum? ahahahaha
Im trying to LIFT UP the Perceptual Acuity of the average Trumpette
Freegards!
I agree.
You would have to up your game to enlighten the most mentally challenged Trump supporter, from what I’ve read in your posts.
Normal Republican conservatives don’t dredge up Democrat talking points, as Trump has done against more than one Republican rival. Trumps chumps are blind to that. In the unlikely even he should win the nomination, the false attacks from Democrat talking points by this pseudo conservative will come back to haunt him.
“National Review just doesn’t get it.”
No, they get that they’re pissed off that their guy “Boosh” isn’t going to make it. Now that the Sears Catalog isn’t available, people of modest means should nail copies of the National Review to their outhouse walls to use in place of TP. Rich Lowry is feckless turd!
I disagree sir! Do not make the mistake of believing that people have uncommon sense. It used to be common sense for a reason.
Get them (fedgov) to release the 29 redacted pages of the 9/11 report first before laying into Trump.
All you’re doing here is making yourself look obsessive and silly. The same people at the same publications who’ve been trashing Trump since he announced, and putting the worst possible, twisted interpretation on everything he said past and present are still at it, still trying to damage his candidacy with distortions and misrepresentations.
They, and you, will have the same success, or lack thereof, as was realized in past attempts to trash the leading Republican candidate.
Same for me up until he said, blame him or not, it was on his [W's] watch. He handled it brilliantly.
That said, do you have a link on your "pipeline" comment so that I might get a sense of what that issue is all about?
Right...they just sit there and let the lies be repeated until everyone believes them and become losers like Romney! Hello Barack O'bama!
Yeah, now that some FReepers cheer on Trump and Putin, what’s National Review got to do with conservatism. After all, Putin was a real conservative before William F. Buckley. Trump was conservative before...a couple a years ago. They’re the real conservatives.
Just wait. He’ll be interviewed, eventually, by AJ and that will “prove” he’s a truther. Just watch.

You’re on a fools mission. We’re all on to you!
All Donald Trump said was that GWB was Chief Executive at the time of the terrorist attack. Period.
Judging from the extreme defensive and emotionally-based reactions from the likes of NYT, WaPo, NatRev, RNC, ect., it’s obvious they all know Bush and Cheney and Rice eff’d up big time.
As Rush pointed out years ago, liberals always give themselves away.
I don’t know if Trump baited him, but Jeb is certainly not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Had he just said “he kept us safe after 9/11”, Trump wouldn’t have had the opening. Trump saw it, and pounced. Completely agree about the rest though.
