I like Bush, but I still say he had knowledge prior to 9/11 and he acted strangely on the day of.

IOW, you deny that the Bush administration was warned multiple times of an imminent attack. That's you just being uninformed though.

Of course I don’t deny that; why is it you constantly misrepresent what I am trying to tell you?

So, lets try just once more. There is no effective, politically acceptable response to such a “warning”.

“Imminent”, for example. What the hell does that mean in this context? A day? A week? A month? Who knows? Certainly not you. Certainly not me, and certainly not George Tenant or GW Bush.

What kind of attack was also unspecified in all of these warnings, nor was the target identified or even the type of target.

I suppose that the President could have ordered all government agencies to run around like chickens with their heads cut off, and perhaps that would have pleased some folks- maybe you, for example.

But MOST folks would have excoriated Bush and his administration for over reacting, wasting resources, and inconveniencing citizens not just at airports, but everywhere, at the barber shop, car-wash, the delicatessen, embassy, fair ground, golf course, hair-dresser, etc. For literally MONTHS.

Perhaps this seems like a realistic scenario to you, but it is not. It would have been madness.

Here’s what’s screwy about this. I’m certainly not going to defend the presidency of George W. Bush as a whole. But then, there haven’t been a whole lot of presidencies period that we can defend as a whole and some have been disasters.

That said, conservatives, at least the conservatives I’ve known, have responded to this issue just as you basically have time and time again. Bush inherited a mess from Billy Boy, including the wall between intelligence agencies, the seeming lack of concern with bin Laden and Islamic terror, and the lack of details and specifics regarding this “imminent threat”.

I’m not going to sit here and say the Bush administration got everything right. I think obviously they did not.

But it’s real interesting and even real telling to me that all it takes is this guy who’s been all over the map over the years on his political views that now that he’s a “conservative” apparently leading the polls for the Republican nomination, and we can’t question him on anything because he’s never wrong, all it takes is him in some way saying “Bush’s fault” and some of us go, “oh yeah, Bush’s fault.”

It makes one wonder what else Trump can magically convince people that everything they thought they knew was wrong in the blink of an eye.

They actually sat there and told him that attacks could be weeks away! Imminent to Bush clearly meant "not next year!" but "so soon it could happen at any time!" I've already told you this a number of times.

What kind of attack was also unspecified in all of these warnings, nor was the target identified or even the type of target.

Which was why it would have been a good idea for Bush to approve Tenant's request for increased covert operations against Al-Qaeda, instead of waiting to approve it in September AFTER the attacks! The request had been open since March. They were told that an impending, catastrophic attack was in the works. What did Bush do? Nada!

And saved 3000 lives in the process! Although your "at the golf course" stuff is silly hyperbole. You should have said "at the flight school."

Hopefully Trump will convince us to put to death the "Free Trade" globalist cult, that also needs to die a bloody death.

People say that about Trump without even thinking it through in my opinion.

Now, I don’t claim to know Trump’s overall position on this down to the letter.

I know he’s against TPP, and I salute him on that.

But I also know that making deals is what he’s done basically his entire adult life and I hear him talking vaguely about “bad deals” “stupid people” “losing in trade to China and Japan” and how he’ll make “great deals”.

I’d imagine Donald Trump truthfully does love the country. Most people here do love the country, or at least want to.

But I think if the “right” deal or a “good deal” made by “smart people”(him I’m sure being primary amongst them)comes across a hypothetical President Trump’s desk, globalist cult or not, he’d be more than willing to back it.

I’d imagine, in fact I’m pretty sure that business man Donald Trump who does business all over the world likes globalism just fine.

And truthfully and in all honesty as a Christian, if globalism and a “new world order” is going to happen, it’s going to happen. Donald Trump isn’t strong enough to stop it- particularly since it’s actually part of God’s plan to allow it to come about. I’m pretty sure he’s not going to successfully take on God, no matter if some people might think he can.

And I believe it’s going to happen. And I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens on our next president’s watch- no matter who that might be.

I mean, theoretically and in spirit I agree with you. But if you guys are pinning all your hopes on Donald Trump to stop it, well I don’t see that as a winning proposition- for more than one reason, as I outlined here.

Nothing but Monday morning quarterbacking; disgusting and cheap. Unworthy, really.

Oh, I wasn't thinking about scripture at all with the globalist comment. I have no idea what will happen in the future and have never completed my studies on it, except for determining that Daniel's 70 weeks were fully completed during the time of Christ, and that the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD settled the old covenant. I am not a NWO-Illuminati conspiratorialist at all and never have been. But it is a fact that there are Globalists, and they are nasty pieces of work.

But as for what globalism is-- it doesn't involve borders and an immigration policy. See the CFR, which Ted Cruz's wife was a member of.

If I believed that, I sure wouldn’t like him. I don’t really like him as much as I did when he was President, mainly due to his weird views on Texas politics.

Yes, Ted Cruz’s wife was part of it.

Yes, while I support Ted Cruz there are things that of course let me know there are problems there.

But at the end of the day, what’s he supposed to do. Say, “Heidi, I forbid you to be involved with the CFR”?
