CNS ^ | October 16, 2015 | Mark Judge

"Nazi is described as a right wing organization, Yet their were Socialists [sic]. They were left. But Chuck. But My BUTT."

"National Socialist German Workers' Party. Nazi Party. Hitler. Need I go on?"

"Maybe better. Democrats don't value the country. They value the power of Government. There is a difference ya know."

"You want to know how much power our Government has over our lives? Just make the suggestion we shut it down. That's how much.LIBERTY we have."

"While European countries, one by one, are dying on the vine, Democrats insist we become more like them. Insane!"

National Socialism was still socialism.

Of course it was.

Socialists believe in central planning. Did the Nazis believe in that? Yes.
Socialists believe in ending debate once the center has decided on something. Did the Nazis believe in that? Yes.
Socialists believe in limiting personal rights for the good of the state. Did the Nazis believe in that? Yes.

But wait, the socialists will say, the Nazis believed in a strong military, and that's a rightist policy. What the socialists will not admit is that the Nazis wanted a strong military to further socialist ideals.

"We Workers are Awake! "

Sounds a lot like "Workers of the world Unite!"

All one has to do is read Mein Kampf to understand that Nazism was an extreme brand of socialism. Arguments to the contrary are BS and liberal/democrat wishful thinking.

Having made this argument myself I’d like to point out that the author made a tactical error. Rather than saying Fascism is LEFT, simply say that it is a form of Marxism. Otherwise the argument devolves into what is “right” and “left”. It also helps with the argument “but Nazi’s killed Socialists”. The answer to that is Marxists of different stripes have a long history of killing each other to determine who will be the ones in power.

Funny, Hitler still instituted socialist policies after that event, so he must have failed to purge himself along with the other socialists.

Both Hitler and Stalin in those posters appear to be saying “hey, check out the babe over there with the huge knockers!”.

I had a customer comparing Republicans to Nazis, and I responded “Yes, I’m sure if the National Socialist Workers’ Party were here today, they’d be Republicans!” [eyeroll]

“simply say that it is a form of Marxism”

Actually, Hitler specifically rejected Marx’s brand of socialism. He was socialist, but very anti-Marxist.

Right — but it doesn’t fit the template of their narrow little ideology, so lefties will NEVER admit this.

I hope he invested his money well from being spokesman for commercials because there is a good chance he will be dropped from them.

The Nazi’s were pikers in scope of what they wanted to control. The modern democrat wants more control of the ins and outs of life than any regime ever dreamed of. See at some point other regimes just get fed up and shoot people or send them to camps. The modern liberals has decided to make the home itself the prison and the entire country a concentration camp. The old leaders of tyranny tried to limit freedom; the modern liberal denies its very existence.

If chairman Mao were still alive he would carry a little red book of Bernie Sanders quotations.

The socialists also forget that the USSR was basically a state set up to serve a military machine. People did without toothpaste and toilet paper, but they sure built a lot of tanks. And I'm not fooled by "socialists" who say "Oh, but those were "communists" as though they were something different. No, they were not and they are not.

"A standing army and police are the chief instruments of state power."

"The goal of socialism is communism."

Left...right...it often doesn't make much difference. When looking at Hitler and Stalin, for example,an unbiased historian will tell you that they had far more in common with *each other* than *either* of them had in common with Churchill.

And the same goes when comparing Hitler to Mao.And Kim Il Sung.And.....

Yes. You understand.

The Nazis were not only Socialists, they were the extreme Left among Socialists, only a shade to the right of the actual Communists.

For sixteen absolutely clear demonstrations of just how far Left they were, see The Lies Of Socialism.

For more on just how closely Obama has aped Hitler's tactics, see Leftwing Chickens Coming Home.

Yes, he should go on. Hitler put an end to the socialist, homosexual, and most violent wing of the NSDAP, in 1934.

I assume you are talking about the SA. Other than that, I’m not sure if you are commending Hitler or not for killing a bunch of thug street fighting anarchists (IMHO). I think that Hitler’s problem with the SA was not over politics as much as it was over power.

In my mind the Night of the Long Knives was one of Hitler’s most effective maneuvers from a power consolidation standpoint. True, the SA went down, but so did a lot of conservatives. The result was that after the purge no one felt safe from Hitler’s wrath, on either side of the “aisle”. A good thing if you’re Hitler.

Don’t get me wrong I have no respect for Hitler. But one must understand the tactics of power hungry madmen to learn from history.
