Senate to consider controversial cyber security bill

The U.S. Senate is expected to begin considering as soon as Tuesday a long-delayed bill that would make it easier for corporations to share information about cyber attacks with each other or the government without concern about lawsuits.

The House of Representatives passed its version of the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act (CISA) in April.

A few lawmakers and several big tech companies, however, have come out against the measure, arguing that it fails to protect users' privacy and does too little to prevent cyber attacks.

The Computer and Communications Industry Association, a trade group representing Facebook, Google and other major tech companies, last week said it opposed CISA as it is currently written. Twitter said on Tuesday it cannot support CISA in its current form.

Ah...why?...you content a Jamie Gorelick like wall on Cybersecurity is a good thing...it allow sharing of cyber threats...taking it out of antitrust domain..so it remove laws that block free action. so would be libertarian..it allows free action..it does not require...

a free society allows a free exchange of information by ever if it could be used for bad

I think the term you are searching for is ‘warrant.’

Warrant?. you seem to be confusing someone coming on to your property .....and you coming on to someone other.. particularly coming on the other people's property to do harm..

we are both on a third party server right now. Its jimrob house ...not you or mine...so it his rules...not your ..not mine ... not the governments...so if he wants to share info...he can...if he does not want to share info...he can....

and if you or i or and one else does a cyber attack on his site..his property..his domain.. he has the right to tell other and warn....

so where to you get this warrant stuff with regards to this

Warrant apply to access to your private property...But you seem to want to tell others (via government force) what they can say or can do with their private property because you set foot on it... ..you paying rent for your own private space on this domain.like it was your apartment or storage unit?..I don't think so
