I know all too well how our manufacturing base has eroded.
Fewer jobs in manufacturing every year since 1980.
TVs made in USA would be a good point for Trump! Tax em’ No more cheap big screens from China!
I imagine Chris Wallace had been trying to land an interview with Trump for some time.
One thing I have noticed about Trump is that in interviews and his speeches is that he keeps direct eye contact with the interviewer and with his audience.
Chris Wallace, I believe, was a little nervous as he would keep looking to his left at times. I think Trump intimidated him as he does a lot of people.
Also the funniest part was when Chris brought up that Trump had said his Father, Mike, had treated him better in a interview Trump had given him many years earlier. Then Chris pulls out that old interview. Looked like Chris was just a tad jealous.
All in all a very good interview.
Do you REALLY think any costs saving by using stoop coolie labor is passed on to the consumer? Are Freepers really this naive?
We are gonna do...what we are gonna do. And nothing the establishment ruling class can do, will stop us from getting done what needs to be done.
One way or another.
I naturally dismissed Trump as well at the start, then I watched him live at a rally, and it became blantantly clear there was something there.... It is easy to write this guy off because he is such a self promoter as he’s just doing another PT Barnum thing... but the only way you can think this guy wasn’t for real after watching him in action, is if your mind was closed completely to the possibility of it and nothing was going to change your mind.
I see from your posts you’re anti-Trump (and pro-Cruz).
If Wallace weren brighter, he’d have recognized that Trump’s got what it takes a lot sooner.
“Brit Hume and George Wills heads started spinning around. :-)”
Don’t forget Megyn Kelly.
Excellent summary! I may have to borrow that...;)
“One thing I have noticed about Trump is that in interviews and his speeches is that he keeps direct eye contact with the interviewer and with his audience.”
Plus he has an interesting way of bringing in the interviewer, as if they are involved with the Trump campaign. He’ll say ‘as you know...’, then the interviewer is perceived to agree with Trump. I’ve yet to see one argue with him on those statements. He also says things like ‘the last time we talked...’ or ‘when we met in Florida...’ so it seems like they are friends.
It is all highly unusual. It has to make the liberal journalists squirm!
The kiss of death?
..anytime you need it....it’s for all of us to share....
