Status Report: States Can Nullify Federal Gun Control in Practice

There were several important victories in the fight to protect the Second Amendment from federal attack during the 2015 legislative session. This sets the stage for further action to nullify in practice federal infringement on the right to keep and bear arms in 2016.

In light of the recent murders at an Oregon college, Obama is once more trying to use a vicious crime as an excuse to violate our natural right to self-defense via executive orders. Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders have both stated they intend to introduce gun control measures such as magazine capacity limits, background checks and waiting periods. Of course no criminal bothers to obey these laws, but the do encroach on our right to keep and bear arms.

The foundation is set for state action to stop these plans in their tracks.

IN PROGRESS

Sixteen states considered Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA) bills in 2015, and significant laws relating to the Second Amendment went into effect in two states...

The UNODA Arms Treaty needs to be appealed and the UN needs to be scrapped and the UN dismantled. Their office in NYC needs to be shut down. They are involved in the administration of the abomination called the NWO...

The difficulty would arise out of the fact that gun store owners are federally licensed. If their FFL is revoked for non-compliance, they are not legally able to buy new stock from distributors, and the distributors (who would like to keep their FFLs, thanks) will not violate the terms of their licensing to sell it to them.

Homosexual activists used the courts to force reciprocal affirmation of their “marriages” onto states where such unions were not legal. That’s exactly the same angle 2nd amendment advocates should use to challenge gun banning states to recognize their legal carry rights from other states.

Meh. Kansas. Mill the component to violate the illegal ATF.

So you’re saying manufacture the guns in-state so they don’t have to be shipped from the federally licensed distributors?

Except for the fact that the federal courts are in favor of homosexual marriage, and are hostile to the RKBA, that's a good suggestion.

Yeah, what constitutes a “firearm” and “manufacturing” is very well defined.
Someone strictly complying with the law could import unfinished parts, do some milling, and sell the “firearm” in state. He would have to stamp a serial number on it.

Yes. When your local gun owners would prefer that to, say, a Sig Sauer, a Glock, or even a Ruger, I will concede that you have a good idea.

The creation of sanctuary cities set the precedent for local government to defy federal law. Why not sanctuary for traditional marriage and the Second Amendment?

Just a thought:

Its much easier for the government to prevent you from getting a gun, than it is to take away one you already have.

Buy what you need now.

This over rules any “executive order”:

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Which is exactly what you will have LESS of when you give up these factory-made guns with factory quality-control departments in favor of weapons that are final-machined, fitted, and assembled in your new start-up assembly plant.

Go to some of the firearm related sites on the web. Story after story of new guns having to be returned for defects. Most of the gun manufacturers have been bought out by large corporations whose only concern is the bottom line.

I think they have fired all their QC people.
