Hopefully the third world can pull themselves up and advance enough to stop overflowing into the West, but the presistence of poverty and backwardness in places like Haiti, Venezuela, and Africa makes it seem like there’s a Bell Curve factor holding them back.

They lack the basic elements for success. There is no education. The first thing the governing class did for the industrial revolution is educate the masses. They are also exposed to TV and communism instead of Christianity’s work ethic. And, I suspect nutrition and pollution have lowered the average intelligence to values that are not compatible with today’s needs. Other issues are cultural in that work is not, on average, a concern. A friend went to Africa to help the natives build infrastructure. He said the women did all the work and the men sat around in the shade getting high and watching the Christians build them stuff. He said he’d never go back.

This is impossible, they are unable to do anything for themselves. They have always had to rely on white Westerners to make anything for them and to do anything to advance their environments.
