Challenged during the interview on seeming to blame the 43rd president for the terrorist attack, Trump said, “He was President, OK? Blame him or don’t blame him, but he was president. The World Trade Center came down during his reign.

Question for the ever-articulate [not even close] Trump:

When you talk about ~~George Bush~~ Donald Trump, I mean, say what you want, ~~the World Trade Center came down~~ four bankruptcies occurred during ~~his~~ your time.

Also, Mr. Trump, you owe a debt of gratitude to the media for cleaning up your sloppy verbiage. They kindly took the liberty to remove the first "don't" from your screwy sentence so that you could look a little smarter. Just know that some of us have ears to hear. And here's the way the media should have reported your response for accuracy's sake:

They should have even thrown a [sic] in there somewhere to let the world know that the error is not theirs. But I'll hand it to you, Mr. Trump. The folks licking your wingtips on this thread were just fine with Mr. Bush in those years right after the attacks. You have a great talent for mesmerizing and hypnotizing. That much I can tell you.
