A "yes means yes" activist has to step down because
she "raped" somebody.
Chortle.

Did you see the list of her “activities”? Does it look like a list of university clubs or list of activities for a whorehouse?
I guess Oxford and other universities are no longer what they used to be!

I had sex with someone.
The other party later informed me that the sex was not consensual.
I failed to properly establish consent before every act.
I apologise sincerely and profoundly for my actions.
Let each one of those phrases just sort'a sink in ....

Not wanting to sound too unkind, I still must remark that, having seen her photo, I would be hard-pressed to conceive that any sexual act with this womyn could in any way, manner, or form EVER be considered consensual.

Wasn’t there a scene in a Woody Allen film in which a woman says “I finally had an orgasm, but my doctor told me it wasn’t the right kind of orgasm”? Reading this article made me think of that scene for some silly reason or another, lol. In any event, I guess this episode is example number 52,678 of how really funny these people are when they do not intend to be.

I had sex with someone. The other party later informed me that the sex was not consensual. I failed to properly establish consent before every act. While I enjoy the schadenfreude, this has just gotten too ridiculous.
I propose we go back to an older standard: "Going into a person's bedroom, or voluntarily letting them into yours, shall be deemed consent. Removal of consent must be explicit and unambiguous, such as getting up and leaving the room."
