My memory of USeless Air is when they convinced Pittsburgh to build a new state of the art terminal according to their specification in return for making Pittsburgh a hub. A few years later, they abandoned us.
USAIR once had a virtual monopoly on air travel from Pittsburgh, so they could treat their passengers like cattle. Then the other airlines came in, but USAIR continued to treat their passengers shabbily. Then they complained because passengers bolted for Southwest and other airlines.
So long USAIR. I won’t miss you. I just hope American doesn’t pick up your bad habits.
