DOJ Creates New Position to Tackle Domestic Terror Threat

In the wake of recent mass shootings in Chattanooga, Tenn., Charleston, S.C., and Roseburg, Ore., the Department of Justice is getting more serious about countering the increasing threats of domestic terrorism. Speaking at George Washington University on Wednesday, John Carlin, head of the department’s national security division, announced the creation of a new position. The new domestic terrorism counsel will serve “as our main point of contact for U.S. attorneys working on domestic terrorism matters,” Carlin said.

The position, he continued, will “ensure that we are gaining the benefits of the information and input from those eyes on the ground from around the country.” The new lawyer, who the DOJ declined to name, will assist the department in identifying trends “to help shape our strategy, and to analyze legal gaps or enhancements required to ensure we can combat these threats.” Carlin noted the threats posed by homegrown terrorists, who are radicalized over the Internet by groups like ISIS, and also from other radicals such as white supremacists.

“Looking back over the past few years, it is clear that domestic terrorists and homegrown violent extremists remain a real and present danger to the United States,” he said. “We recognize that, over the past few years, more people have died in this country in attacks by domestic extremists than in attacks associated with international terrorist groups.”

Just when we thought we were free from the DOJ Attorney General who exposed America's vices including: Racial Cowardice, Islamophobia, disproportionate hatred of terrorists, our need for surveillance, our misuse of free speech, free reign for conservatives, misinterpretation of the 2nd Amendment, trigger happy soldiers, cruel closed borders, mistreatment of Black Panthers, unfair voter ID laws, cruel policy of not giving Mexican Drug Lords automatic weapons, and lack of Islamic funding and outreach, Eric Holder is back and now leading the Domestic Terrorism Council and its effort to track down and eliminate domestic terrorism, which includes white conservative fundamentalism and extremism.

It is a certainty that Mr. Holder's predisposition to sniffing out white radicalism in all its forms will aid him in his new role. Of particular concern to the DTC is conservative Christian fundamentalist websites that propagate fundamentalist conservative beliefs and white Christian "cultural" supremacy...

Once they get a hold on that government teat it is hard to let go.

Knowing him it will be white vets, Christians, gun owners, preppers, survivalists, home schoolers, grannies and grandpas at the top of the list.

Who knew there were so many millions leaning toward domestic terrorism?

It isn’t so much about “White Supremacy” as it is about ethical urban inferiority. Too bad that the black community “leaders” are busy stirring up racial hatred instead of stirring up morality, education and a work ethic that leads to prosperity. I guess anger is easier to provoke than optimistic planning and effort.
