Rush Limbaugh: GENIUS.
Considering how many are unemployed, I don’t know anyone that truly believes the unemployment rate.
We know we’re being lied to, but the government has been really good at masking things, like EBT cards preventing soup kitchen lines photos.
Ultimately even the delusional are going to get mugged by reality soon enough.
And entertaining, too.
But he quotes a few blogs in this article, so he would be willing to admit that he relies in part on others for his analysis.
I know it. It’s pretty obvious, which makes me mentally depressed. :(
I can’t remember a time when I know so many who aren’t working, from college grads to those who are a few years too young to collect social security. And they all want to work. Most of them voted for obama. The delusional are already getting mugged by reality.
One thing that is different about this depression compared to the great depression is all the distractions. The drugs, the entertainment. They’re the opiates of the a$$e$.
Too many millenials (and their parents) have their heads up their hollywoods.
I graduated in 2008 I lost my job last year went week’s without working luckily I found another job but at no where the money I was making I am looking for 2nd and 3rd job till I get done with my Masters from bible college then I am moving again more likely to Texas.
You’re in my prayers, StoneWall Brigade. Texas looks forward to your arrival. But please enjoy your remaining time pursuing your Masters. May God bless you.
And entertaining, too.

Of course he would admit it. Everyone relies on sources for their information. One can’t analyze anything without information.
I read some of the blogs that were linked in Rush’s article, thinking that I should just post them instead because they had the original analysis. Rush mostly repeated what those other bloggers already wrote. But I didn’t research it enough to see where the bloggers’s analysis ended and Rush’s began.
The reason I said Rush “would admit that he relies in part on others for his analysis” was because gaijin and I were bragging about Rush’s genius, and although Rush can be (or seem to be) as bombastic and arrogant as Trump, I’ve listened to Rush all these past decades knowing that he is truly humble in his own way.
I’m guessing broke obama wasn’t able to intimidate or bribe the bls to produce better looking numbers.
Sorry, I thought you were being critical of him. I apologize.
I see your good points.
I went up to Fort Collins, CO in a convoy of cars to see Rush at Dan’s Bake Sale in 1992. I put in the cassette and we listened to his first audio book on the way up there. LOL
“Theyre the opiates of the a$$e$.”
Hm. Bread and circuses.
what do they care if millions and millions have no job whatsoever, that the prospect for young people are awful, and that they truly are winners in a losing economy....
no govt workers loose, ever...no matter what....
now throw in the people who just WANT to not work....
so when the rest of we dwindling few look at our paychecks, lets remember who we're working for...and its not us and its not our families or our "legacy"...
we work for "them".
I’ve long referred to this as “The Great Depressing.” It started when Obama came to town and took over. Not long after the 2006 election, although he didn’t receive the formal title of President until after the ‘08 election. But in the 2006 one the Rats took over Congress and alleged President Bush did NOTHING to interfere with their domestic agenda. As long as they funded the war Bush left the Democrats in charge. And well before his formal nomination Obama was running the Democrats (just ask ‘President inevitable’ Hillary if you think otherwise.) The crash, de facto, came on Obama’s watch and the initial attempts to recover from it were pure Obama policy, mindlessly endorsed by Bush and McCain.
Depression? Good God. I don’t know anybody in my family who would agree with that. Heck my family does ok but my brother and sister are financially stable. My nephew got the first job he searched for. Cousins are doing well. I don’t get what is bad except for the debt of the United States.
Busby Berkley musicals tried to get the audience’s mind off the depression.
We’re all good, laplata! We’re lucky to have matured during the age of Rush Limbaugh.
