It's like respecting McLame...for his military career. I don't respect him...I despise him. He's what is wrong with the GOPe...
I don't respect Webb....He joined the Dim's. That's like joining the North Vietnamese. And joining Jane Fonda, Maxine Waters, Barack Hussein Obama, Debbie Blathermouth Wasserman, Alcee Hastings, Killary Clinton, Cynthia McKinney, Sheila Jackson Lee, Sidney Bluthemall, algore, John Conyers, Charles Rangel, Major Owens, Pelosi, Kweisi Mfume, ETC, ETC....
These people are anti-American and disrupter's..PERIOD.
Jim Webb joined them!
I wouldn’t want to.
He’s perverted democrat scum.
He’s less conservative than even the worst RINOs.
From one of Webb’s novels on VietNam...
“The man grabbed his young son in his arms, turned him upside down, and put the boy’s penis in his mouth”
Another exerpt....
“Fogarty . . . watch[ed] a naked young stripper do the splits over a banana. She stood back up, her face smiling proudly and her round breasts glistening from a spotlight in the dim bar, and left the banana on the bar, cut in four equal sections by the muscles of her vagina. “
The guy is not quite right in the head.
No we do not! What John Glenn did was done first by a monkey. John Glenn had no more control of the flight than did the monkey!
John Glenn fell in his bathtub, hit his head, and was forever insane! What a piece of $hit!
"Songbird" McCain is different than Webb when it comes to military service. And there are some things he did as senator that are shameful re our POW/MIAs. I am sure you know all about these issues.
Webb is a conservative Dem harking back to the Scoop Jackson era. He term-limited himself. Obamacare is an abomination, but I don't disqualify Webb from being a true party no matter what party label he has. He is a decent man with character.
We will just agree to disagree. Let's leave it at that. I am not going to change your mind and you won't change mine.
More stuff on Webb’s writings...

You didn’t have to post that...........
Be polite, be professional. But have a plan to kill everyone you meet.
Yes, I had to. This stuff has been freaking me out and is so not like the Jim Webb I knew at the Academy. Of course, he was somewhat sheltered at the Academy, with his older brother, Spider, also at the Academy protecting him, and his dad running NASA and using his influence to make sure no one messes with his son. His daddy must be turning in his grave.
Jim Webb loves Obama and obamacare. How much damage must a man do to his country before you stop liking him?
As for me, newbie, I joined the Corps the day after my 17th bday — July 1981. I served in the infantry (TOW missiles) until July 1985. I saw combat in Beirut, in 1983. And after all that, I did not betray my country by supporting abortion, democrats, and obamacare. How about you, Obama lover?
He is a traitor, period. What do you feel about gabby Gifford’s peter-puffer husband? Is he a patriot, too?
Col. Glenn was a hero.
Senator Glenn was a POS.
I find it distressing to have to make these distinctions, but the military heroes who turn themselves into crappy politicians leave me no choice.
You know what?
I call total bullshit on you..and everything you've said here.
I served 8 years as a naval officer including a year in Vietnam (Danang) during the Tet Offensive and 10 months off the coast on the USS Iwo Jima (LPH-2). We had Marine battalions and a helicopter wing on board whom we supported as they attacked the NVA and Viet Cong during landings. We had a complete medical surgical team on-board to handle casualties.
I served 28 years as a foreign service officer including two years in Tehran. I was there when our Embassy was overrun on February 14, 1979. It was a harrowing experience as the Chancery building was shot up and we eventually surrendered to the Mujaheddin. I was there when Khomeini took over.
I also spent five years in Saudi Arabia and was there for Desert Shield/Storm. Three days after the war I went up to Kuwait to assist our embassy there.
Impressive resume. I apologize.
Did you do 444 days captivity?
No, I was in a class above him, Class of 65. I was a classmate of his brother.
The second takeover took place on November 4 and these were the hostages held 444 days. I knew about 10 of the hostages.
Dark days. I was gonna join the Corps after my senior year. After the botched rescue attempt, I decided to skip the senior year.
His brother, Spider.
