Free ticket to meet candidate suggests decline in star power since January, when event attendees were urged to raise as much as $100,000.
In an indication of fierce competition for donors in the GOP presidential race, a major fundraiser for Jeb Bush is inviting potential supporters to meet the candidate at a Greenwich, Conn., country clubwith no obligation to give.
Come meet Jeb Bush as my guest, reads the email from Leora Levy, who serves on the finance committees of the Republican National Committee and the partys Senate and House fundraising arms.
The invitation lists a ticket price of $750 for young professionals under 35 years old and $2,700 for supporters, while co-hosts are asked to raise $10,000 and co-chairs to raise $20,000.
If you are still on the fence, however, I want you to come as my guest, no charge, and if so moved by hearing from Jeb in person, donate then, Mrs. Levy wrote.

You’re doing a good job keeping us informed about the money game, jimbo. Keep it up. It’ll be interesting to see what is revealed tomorrow.
I DON’T SEE HOW AS DRUG MONEY LOOKS LIKE REGULAR MONEY!
Its called online advertising. Advertiser transfers money to Publisher via an ad network the publisher owns. Tax is the laundry fee. Don’t tell anybody cheapest out of Dubai I’d imagine. I bet there are jeb publishers on some back water adnetwork taking in a fortune. A couple more beers I might look for it. Once again sssssh!
