Donald Trump dominates discussion of Democrats’ ‘boring’ debate on Twitter, Facebook
Washington Times ^ | October 13, 2015 | Stephen Dinan

Even the massive Republican presidential field isn’t enough to contain Donald Trump, the billionaire businessman who on Tuesday inserted himself into Democrats’ race as well by live-tweeting their first presidential debate.

It’s another indication of just how thoroughly he has come to dominate the battle for the White House and how Republican and Democratic candidates have come to realize that their path to the White House runs through Mr. Trump.

He then proceeded to dissect the Democratic field the same way he has analyzed his Republican opponents, saying former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley “has very little chance” and that he doubted anyone could see former Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee as president.

“Sorry, there is no STAR on the stage tonight,” he said, echoing the conclusions of a number of instant analysis from pundits online. ...

Kevin Sheridan, a Republican strategist who did countermessaging around Democrats’ events at the Republican National Committee in 2004, called the Trump live-tweeting “fairly brilliant.”

“Donald Trump is a countermessaging dream and nightmare all in one. Trolling the event with the biggest megaphone in America practically puts him on the stage with the candidates as every reporter will be looking to cherry pick his best responses throughout an otherwise snoozer of a debate,” Mr. Sheridan said. “Better for everyone if he sticks to insightful mockery rather than cheap shots, but at this point, who knows? He speaks for himself. Give him credit: The guy can steal a spotlight.”

Me 2 Ms Bobble head was putting me in a trance. Should have just logged on to The Donald’s take for the entire thing. So who won the Democrat debate? From all appearances it was Donald Trump ROTFLOL

‘Folks’ at FOX seemed to believe it was Bill’s Hill. Of course they only believed she and Bernie were the only two on stage. They said little about any other candidate.

It was one vagina surrounded by four boobs.

The winner? Trump and his tweets.

The clips I’ve seen on BBC International made it seem more like a Democrat Pep Rally than a Debate. All candidates seemed to be in agreement - and they took turns bashing the Republicans.

FNC still in the tank for HRC with Yeb out. Murdoch wanted to pick between the two and with Bush knocking on death’s door he wants HRC to win - you can tell from the fawning tonight after the debate from Babycakes and Hume. They are ecstatic over HRC’s performance.

Only in America could you be made out to be a villain just because you’ve earned yourself a billion dollars by a vile criminal woman and a crusty old communist prick who never made an honest dime in their lives.

It’s high time for America to wake up and take out the smelly trash they’ve been collecting. I volunteer to help.

In the long shots, she looked rather insignificant.... a shrunken midget up against her tall opponents.

Reminded me of the ill-fated Dukakis.

I’m not hot over Trump; but I think the fact is he’s not going into national politics to get rich quick like most do. . . already rich.

Boring?

I think I remember the introductions, but all other information about the debate was a surprise to me.

I slept great

Don’t fret: Trump beat them all without even being on stage.

LOL.

I turned it on about 1/4 the way into it. Turned it off less than 10 minutes later. Lame. Predictable.

Trump aside ... the use of the term "boring" to complain about something is an adolescent cop-out. It's the lazy person's way to avoid being articulate.

It's also a gratifying LIE that getting bored easily is a sign of intelligence. No, getting bored easily is a sign of lack of imagination, lack of creativity, and lack of self-discipline and focus.

Basically, getting bored easily is a sign of a lazy brain that wants entertainment handed to it ready-made.

But parents (I've seen it in my own family) with children who "get bored easily" are very happy to attribute that bad and lazy habit to "intelligence." Yeeesh.

The more Trump opens his mouth and uses such juvenile expressions as "boring" to describe what is actually stupid and dangerous (the Dem debates), the less I am impressed; sadly, I am also less than impressed with so many so-called "conservatives" who don't see Trump a little more realistically.

Yeah, basically. In the sport of MMA (fighting) tapping out is what a guy does to give up if he’s about to get choked out or get his arm broken or something.

In my case I was gonna literally throw up so I had to stop watching. I shouldn’t have eaten while watching that crap.
