Bavaria threatens Merkel with court over refugees

EU refugee rules are 'obsolete': Merkel

If the federal government does not take the initiative itself to control the number of people coming into the country, the Bavarian government will force it to through the Constitutional Court, the Bavarian government announced on Friday after an emergency meeting of the state cabinet.

Bavarian Minister President Horst Seehofer, of the Christian Social Union (CSU), said that the federal government was threatening “the ability of the German states to act with independence”.

Seehofer and his cabinet demanded that refugees be sent back before they cross the Austrian-German border.

“If the federal government does not do anything, the Free State of Bavaria will be forced to take matters into its own hands,” Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann (CSU) threatened.

Seehofer and Herrmann would not elaborate further, with Seehofer saying only that “we will do whatever is necessary”.

Controlling the Austrian border could prove controversial, since it is monitored by the Federal Police, which answers to the federal government in Berlin, not the Bavarian government in Munich

While Bavaria became part of the German Empire in 1870, it maintained a separate army (and later air force) until 1919. It even maintained a level of autonomy during the Weimar years. It wasn’t integrated into Germany until the Nazi era, and there was some talk of breaking it back out and combining it with Austria at the end of WWII.

Amazing coincidence ain’t it that all these leaders in western countries are bring in thousands and then millions of “refugees” all at once while the Saudi’s are not.

The Saudi’s have bought these leaders.

Is Frau Merkel about to undo Otto Von Bismark historic achievement? Perhaps, she sure has made a monumental and career ending mistake. But is it a nation ending mistake too?

I support the CSU, I want Horst Seehofer to do this. I want Bavaria to take the “self defence” measures that he’s talking about.

Something must give, someone must stand up to Merkel and her historical mistake.

It’s either this or the whole of Europe is going to collapse.

Bavaria should break away—any of the old Monarcy left to form a government around? If Merkel wants to play Islamic santa Claus to these “Refugees” Let Berlin pay for it!
