EXCLUSIVE: security farce at 'data fortress' run by Datto (held Hillary's emails)
By Louise Boyle In Reading, PA, and Daniel Bates ^ | 0/13/15 | Louise Boyle In Reading, PA; Daniel Bates For Dailymail.com

Datto, Inc, which stored Hillary's national security secrets when it backed up her private server claims it runs 'data fortresses' monitored by 24 hour security; that only a retinal or palm scan allows access. But its Bern Township, PA facility, doesn't have a perimeter fence or security checkpoints and has two reception areas. Dumpsters were left open and unguarded, and loading bays have no security presence

Datto, Inc, was in the network that stored classified messages from Hillary's controversial private email server. But unlike most government buildings, it is possible to walk into Datto without being challenged. Daily Mail Online saw employees from inside the building emptying trash into a dumpster that was kept open and unattended.

The disclosures raise alarms that emails were not as secure had Clinton used her official email account as Secretary of State. (video at web site)

The Datto building in Bern Township, near Reading, PA, which the firm describes in glowing terms as a data fortress. But it has no fence surrounding it and no checkpoints.

When you get to the national level....you need some dimwit on your team who continually asks stupid questions and then says out loud....what if the public finds out about x, y and z?

I just look at Hillary....someone who ought to have a fair amount of knowledge about the ‘big leagues’, and I see a classic case of a marginal player who needs to stay at the county level of politics....maybe mayor, maybe city council...but she’s way out of her league.

They got away w/ so much for so long that this was a walk in the park...their big chance to get-rich-quick on classified info. They did whatever it took to rake in the billions.

“...but she’s way out of her league.”

Aw, ya think?

Herself, Madame Benghazi, the Cold & Joyless was out of her league when she was working on the Watergate Investigation Committee. Contrary to popular opinion, Herself was not fired while working on that committee, but she was severely reprimanded for “serious lapses” while with them.

Representative Peter Rodino, Jr., of New Jersey, formed a separate Impeachment Inquiry staff assembled to determine whether President Nixon had committed impeachable offenses. That inquiry staff was headed by former U.S. Justice Department lawyer John Doar, and one of his hires was a 26-year-old Yale Law School graduate then known by her maiden name of Hillary Rodham.

Herself took some great liberties with how some of the charges against President Nixon were framed, and earned the reputation even then of being a liar, an unethical, dishonest lawyer, who conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the Committee, and the rules of confidentiality.

A legacy which has been honored again and again.

A key question. When Hillary got the job she was supposedly “trained” in the ins and outs of protecting classified ntl security data.

AS FREEPER SERKIT POSTED: Attention investigators:

<><> Who transported Hillary’s server from NY to NJ? Did the Secret Service (who Hillary insists had been guarding it since it was really Bill’s Library/Foundation asset) accompany and supervise the transport of the server?

<><> Per the interview with Platte River Networks, did they just take it, lock it up, not power it up, connect it to the internet, or not have it functioning as an active email server?

<><> Was there continuity of server activity between May 2013 to August 2015, or did the server go off-line starting in June 2013?

<><> Who received actual server in NJ - the name of the Platte River Networks employee/technician? What WAS it - make/model/form factor, etc.?

<><> Did the Clinton Foundation (or issuer of the RFP on Hillary’s behalf) indicate that the company that would provide data services qualified to handle national-security-level data?

<><> In various interviews and reports, Platte River Networks repeatedly stated they were to “upgrade, manage, and secure” the server. What - specifically - does that mean?

<><> What did Hillary’s RFP/contract order the data center to do specifically?

<><> Does Platte River Networks have sufficient security clearance to handle this type of contract?

<><> What were the firewall protocols in place at the time?

<><> Who - by name - had access to the server, and the administrative authorization to wipe and cleanse the server? When was that done?

<><> Does “upgrade, manage, and secure” the server mean that they PRN was given the task to remove all data from the server when it received it in June 2013?

<><> Was malware or antivirus also on the server?

<><> Was the inherent firewall, virus protection, or operating system “upgraded, managed, and secured”?

<><> Any incidents reported such as DOS attack, hacking, etc.? What were they? How were they resolved?

<><> Other than arranging for the server to be moved from NY to NJ, what was the Denver company contracted to do in relation to maintaining the server?

<><> What tangible evidence is there that the server arrived in functioning condition, was being used as an email server, was “upgraded, managed, and secured”, then wiped just prior to seizure by the FBI?

<><> Were normal and regular backup procedures executed on the server, and where would the back ups be kept?

<><> If no backups were taken, was there a disaster recovery location?

<><> Where was that? If no backups and no disaster recovery, what was the plan if the equipment failed or found to have been wiped of any functionality?

<><> Were any foreign nationals employed at Platte River Networks, or at Datto, that had access to the Clinton server?

Yeah, let’s see the executive sign off on Hill’ homebrew server signed by the job-forever IT security officer. GS-whatevers know SecStates are just passing through keep their heads down and excel at CYA paper trails. Why has no “investigative reporter” been down this trail.

Must have been a Craig Livingstone Chauffer & IT Security LLC, huh?

I don’t care if they had death rays.

They are not part of the government. Their employees could have been bribed to sell Hillary’s e-mails. They could have been ordered by Hillary to sell her e-mails.

This entire defense by Hillary Clinton is the biggest sham ever put on the American public.

The handling of this story by the American Press is pathetic. A third grade produced newsletter has more investigation.

Hillary is dragging this out as long as possible. Her punishment should reflect that.

The bigger the company the more loopholes and possible access points there are to find. To make it even easier, they usually hire the cheapest security companies they can find. Its more important to portray that they have security than to actually have security. The quality of security guards is, shall I say, questionable. They don’t do much more than send off fingerprints to the FBI to see if they have any felony or serious misdemeanor criminal history. The aren’t exactly doing national security clearance background checks which is on a completely different level.

In the past, I’ve walked through the offices of government contractors that were working on sensitive government projects that had documents and folders laying out in the open where they could be pretty easily snatched by a compromised or undercover op working as a security guard and sold to our enemies. Not good and probably how the enemy has gotten ahold of some of our tech secrets in the past.

What do you think Liz

Will this kind of story be the ‘bigger’ issue in the CNN debates (where Hillary’s actions put the county as risk)? OR will the flap about her not accepting gay marriage ‘soon enough’ be the larger issue?

We know, don’t we...

CNN sucks.

Yes! Your post so bears repeating.

It's the steaming pile of elephant dung in the room. The clear, unequivocal violation of multiple felony statutes at the most sensitive levels of government be damned. Our rule of law has been reduced to shape-shifting goalposts and shiny squirrels.
