Columbus saved Europe from becoming another muslim craphole. Columbus sailed to find a new route to Asia. Everyone in Europe knew where Asia was, but the ancient silk road was cut off by muslims. The great explorers sought to find a water route to Asia not controlled by muslims, and not only discovered that but also the new world. We can thank Columbus for the peace and prosperity between 1492 and 9/11/2001.
