I would like to ask you this question:
Would you find it offensive or at least divisive if my “handle” on Free Republic read as: “White Male Retiree”? I mean, would you question why it was so important for me to announce to everyone on a political website my ethnicity and gender? Or would you be justified in concluding, from my choice of identifier, that I was not only racist but probably sexist as well?
As a followup, I guess I’m asking also why you might believe one’s ethnicity and gender have anything to do with how one’s political positions are perceived by those whom one chooses to share them with?

It’s my choice, which I did back in 2011. You can use whatever handle you want to use...that’s your choice.
If it bothers you so much what my handle is, I recommend examining yourself on the inside.
