Interesting modification of his usual “pleading incompetence” excuse... he’s instead trying to claim he “told us so” when in fact he wasn’t even interested enough in the topic to give it a moment’s thought or a day’s labor. The truth is, he’s Commander-In-Chief, like it or not, and his job isn’t to have doubts and piss money away anyway, it is to make a decision about doing something and then doing it with all your might to the best of his ability or else choosing an alternative action to carry out to the best of his ability- not doing anything at all because he’s been sleeping in for 7 years while letting his JV team of Center for American Progress advisors try to handle these things is not an excusable option.
