Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) would make a great conservative Speaker of the House, suggests the American Conservative Unions member scorecard.
The American Conservative Unions (ACU) Executive Director Daniel Schneider joined guest host Matthew Boyle on Breitbart News Sunday on SiriusXM, expressing that, out of the names that have been thrown out there for Speaker of the House, he thinks Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) has the highest score by the ACU.
Weve been doing these ratings of Congress for 45 years, Schneider explained. During Pelosi years, every Republican looked pretty conservative.

I’ll vote for Rep. Blackburn. She is well liked here in Middle Tennessee. The liberal Nashville Tennessean rag hates her, which is good enough for me!
Would like to see Louis Gohmert in the running for Speaker, but Marsha will do nicely.
CRUZ or lose in 2016!
Tennessee here. Blackburn’s okay AND for a bonus; is a woman.
It’s not enough to be a great conservative, she’s got to be strong, tough and dare I say, a b*tch enough to stand up to Obama and the rest.
That’s my concern .... can she “out tough” and “out strategize” Obama & his goons? Would she quake in her heels at the the term “government shutdown” and surrender before the battle starts as Boehner & McConnell do? Does she have whatever it takes to tell Obama he’s “out of money” for all his anti-Constitutional activities? Can she tell the Senate “hey guys, the House is passing what is best for America, not what YOU tell us you maybe can pass ... we’ll meet you in conference after we pass OUR bill!”. Will she return the House to regular order?
I don’t know her ..... hope she’s up to the task in addition to having a great conservative rating & being well-liked.
Blackburn is anti amnesty.
Ryan, Newt and most of the others are pro amnesty.
Easy choice.
It is not only the political posture that is importants.
A speaker needs to have the ability and desire to bring a majority together when needed.
That means being tough and not backing down or compromising on every issue juat to avoid a fight or keep the president and the opposition of his/her back.
That calls for thumping some heads, using the stick and the carrot.
How independent is Marsha of your twin uber-RINO senators?

Blackburn is great on paper, but is she tough enough in all the areas where she'll have to stand up to people & Obama? I don't know enough about her to hazard an answer.

That’s encouraging - thanks!
Her Conservative Review score is in the low 70’s and she is not a member of the Freedom Caucus.
Low 70’s puts her in there with folks like Senator Pat Toomey of PA, who advocated gun control laws twice after the school shooting in Connecticut and the church shooting in South Carolina.
The ACU scorecard is an inside the beltway scorecard of the fake ‘show votes’ they stage in Washington as described by Ted Cruz in his Senate speech the other week.
Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin are my nominees for Speaker.
Rush so rich he can’t be bought and Sarah so principled against the kind of cronyism she saw with Murkowski in Alaska she won’t be bought by the lobbyists.
Thanks.
I think I actually sent Toomey some money. There are so many of them that will say anything to get elected.
Jefferson Sessions as Vice President
Department of State, (return INS.) Donald Rumsfeld
Department of Justice Rep. Steve King
Department of Treasury, (includes former Homeland Security - Customs) Carl Icahn (Offered and Accepted)
Department of War, (change the name back.) Gen. James Mattis
Department of Interior, (includes the legitimate functions only of former Dept. of Transportation, Dept. of Homeland Security - Border Patrol, and Energy Departments) Gov. Palin
Department of Health and Human Services (include the VA function.) Dr. Ben Carson
Department of Labor and Commerce Herman Cain
This proposed model has the President directly managing eight subordinates which is slightly higher than optimal.
Department of Homeland Security ELIMINATE
Department of Education ELIMINATE as proposed by The Donald, 9/23/25 at a Columbia, SC Town Hall with Sen. Tim Scott.
Department of Energy ELIMINATE
Department of Housing and Urban Development ELIMINATE

In non-cabinet level jobs
Sheriff Clarke should be FBI Director
Michelle Bachman as IRS Commissioner under Secretary Carl Icahn in Treasury
Admiral James A. Ace Lyons as Undersecretary of War - Navy Branch.
LTC Allen West as Undersecretary of War Army Branch.
Lynnette Diamond Hardaway and Rochelle Silk Richardson would be great as President Trumps Co-Press Secretaries.
Marsha Blackburn, Speaker of the House
Ted Cruz as Senate Majority Leader.
Conservative Review scores:
Blackburn 72%
Paul Ryan 57%
Daniel Webster 64%
Blackburn has the best score in contrast with the other people running.
Nominating Sarah Palin won’t get you anywhere. You’ll just end up with Paul Ryan and amnesty.
Your nominees aren’t happening.
We need to look at actual possibilities.
You’ve got all kinds of pro-amnesty reps ahead of Blakburn on that conservative review score.
I’ll take someone actually against illegal immigration ahead of those who are weak on it—and Blackburn for all I can see is very good on illegal immigration.
Cruz is no different than most in GOP ..he is Washington insider also. Remember he voted for Obama Iran deal when its needed 60 votes to stay alive and against when it needed on 51 to pass. Its a game they play in DC. As Rush always says watch what they do not what they say Yes it is that simple.
Been saying it for days and days....MARSHA BLACKBURN for SPEAKER!!!!!
while being conservative is important, having leadership skills and desire and actually understanding the congress are most important
