Are you being purposefully obtuse or are you so childlike as to not understand that this is nothing more than another Marxist identity politics effort to discredit the history of the US.
Please tell me it's just because you're dull.

MLK was a communist. He should not be given honors.

MLK does not deserve any “honor”.

MLK was a Republican. That should get the project on fast track.

Yeah I had that same thought. Idjits. They probably have never hiked to the top.

Stone Mountain is so huge that a “monument” on top of it will hardly be visible from the ground. Still, MLK is not worthy of a monument of any kind, anywhere, of any size. I’m sick of everyone always mentioning his name in reverence. He was a rabble rouser of the first order, a plagiarist, a whoremonger, and a liar.

I doubt this will be a major election issue.

Beats having a bunch of militant black nutcases trying to sandblast the carving off the mountain.

The media will probably hype it, however.

In January we celebrate “Martin Luther Day” (even though I’m not Lutheran); I invite you to do the same. Buy some Becks, Bratwurst, make some rabbit stew - and commemorate the contributions of Germany to our American culture (starting with our language).

Glenn Beck is always gushing over MLK, it makes me sick because I have long known about his darker side. Many people have the gift of eloquence but it doesn’t make them good human beings.

Will they have to pay his blood sucking family for his likeness?Five'll getcha ten.

He was a rabble rouser of the first order, a plagiarist, a whoremonger, and a liar.I don't know what was in his heart when he started, but after he and his movement had won all the voting rights that could be had, he did not want to leave the spotlight. By the end he was all that you say.
