This same article or one very similar was posted about 4-5 years ago. It is worth anyone time to read it.
There's some very good articles about malignant narcissism too for anybody who wants to do a search.

Describes 0bozo very well. All too well, in fact.

Many politicians in both parties seem to have this.

Like most personality disorders, narcissistic personality disorder typically will decrease in intensity with age

No, narcissists get worse with age. It's a mental disease that given enough time can infect others. There is no cure. The only way to deal with a narcissist is to keep your distance.

Not just politicians, but professors, psychologists, government workers and media types. They are control freaks. They like to manipulate and be seen as erudite.

...because it just “happened” to be removed from the DSM (the psychologists’ bible) months before Ø was elected to his first term as POTUS.

Trump indeed has a Narcissistic Personality.....but there’s a huge difference between people with that type of personality and one who has a Narcissistic DISORDER, which Trump doesn’t have.

Many successful people are Narcissistic.....it’s not a bad thing as so many like to say....people need to discern the difference of simply having a certain personality and that of a Disorder.

Trump does not have a Narcissistic Disorder.

You need to learn there’s a difference ...Trump does not have a disorder....Narcissistic personality does not mean they have Disorder. ...those are two different things altogether.

Any list of narcissistic personality disorder doesn’t really give a full understanding of what they’re really like. For one thing, there is never any peace. They triangulate, always having at least one person they get others to hate. Check out gaslighting. They’re masters at it.

They want to control your choices, they are critical of you. They only do or say nice things for or about you when others can see. They’re critical, they shame. They separate you from your friends and relatives. Of course, they lie all the time.

A friend is married to a narcissist and I’ve learned a lot about being around one from her. It’s taken her 35 years of marriage to figure out that she’s not defective, it’s him. Anyway, she had a heart attack. About a week after she got home she found out that her husband had been telling all their neighbors that HE had had a heart attack. Typical narcissist.

One of the biggest problems for people that have a parent or spouse with this disorder is that everyone else thinks the narcissist is wonderful and YOU are a piece of crap.

The only thing you can do with one of these people is run, run, run, as far away as possible.

Trump does not have a disorder.

Agreed. People with NPD leave damaged unhappy people in their wake. Barky has that. Trump doesn't.

Would agree with that. Not sure where they came uo with that conclusion.

Have seen it first hand until I removed that family member from my life.

I did ...

From her and her friends who as you predicted followed her (great!)

Her filing for divorce was from Frustration as she could not crack me, but reading your letter was like a time machine and I had to get off!

The psychological aspect to me was the worst, sneeringly dismissive and then boop another personality would manifest...

Peace...
