I’m second generation American of Italian descent.
If thousands of Italians showed up in ships on the shores of New York, I would want the Navy/Coast Guard to make sure they have adequate food and water for the trip back to Italy and send them home.
We are AMERICANS now. It’s nice to keep some of your old culture but that’s it.

Trumps grandfather came from Germany as an immigrant. His father had died. And he sent much of what he made home. Even went home to pick a bride.
Trumps mother Mary came over from Scotland.

This new generation, however, is a strange breed, whether immigrants or not, trapped in a technical age where God and country is too old fashioned and all seem to believe they are entitled.
