With social media, it likely some pics may appear and then some missile parts. Since they did overfly Iran enroute from the Caspian Sea it is possible some fell short.

Unless they were launched from the Caspian sea which is still nearly 400 miles from the furthest eastern reaches of Syria.

The Russians were showing off their long range cruise missile capabilities by launching from small ships in the Caspian sea. The missile would have to fly through Iranian and Iraqi airspace to get to Syria. They are claiming 26 launches 26 hits. CNN disagrees...
