Funny, I ride a Gold Wing that is as quiet or quieter than a car (unless I'm playing the stereo), I never seem to get profiled.

Well, if the individual is wearing the outlaw-gang colors, they are already self-profiling. Otherwise the cops should leave riders alone.

Even so, I'd like to know how much "biker crime" affects the general public, drugs prostitution, violent crime etc and who's doing it. Especially in comparison to say...."black-on-black" pr moslem crime.

Would you know enough to tell the doctor/dentist/lawyer/tradesman bikers from criminals?

How do you want us to dress? Full leathers is exactly what is recommended by the MSF (motorcycle safety foundation).

If I recall correctly it was one of the questions on my state test for a motorcycle license.

You know why we wear leather? It's a whole lot faster and easier to replace a scuffed up jacket and chaps than it is to grow new skin after some twit in a car knocks you off your bike. But according to you, it's so we can look like 1%ers.

I spend most of my 2-wheel time on a 250cc scooter. I couldn't look like a “tough guy” if I tried!
