This should be noted as being first reported in January and was mostly non-news....no one cared about some minor Republican player. What’s generally said is that the affair has been going on for four years and more than a few people know about it.
Personally, I don’t care much. By the time you examine all of the Senators and Representatives....you come to realize that pretty much all of them have something of a scandal sitting there and waiting to be exposed.

DEPOSITIONS FROM ELLMERS AND MCCARTHY.
DISCOVERY RELATED TO ELLMERS AND MCCARTHY’S TRAVEL EXPENSE RECORDS. You know, DATES, PLACES ETC OF HOTEL RESERVATIONS.
DISCOVERY RELATED TO CELL PHONE RECORDS. That would include ping records showing locations at precise times.
It will be very interesting to see McCarthy’s participation in Ellmers’ campaigns (and other activities) compared to McCarthy’s participation in the campaigns of OTHER Congress critters.
If Johnson has multiple sources, he can stick with his story. Defamation laws on public figures needs proof of malice.
And he may have more than sources. Who knows?
Eff the cease and desist, we cannot have another blackmailable speaker of the house like Bone-head!
I suppose they’ll be trotting out McCarthy’s wife Judy and their two kids before the cameras to show complete support for the old man.
