Toyota has been the #1 vehicle for sleezebags in 3rd world hell holes for decades. You can beat the hell out of them with little to no maintenance and they just keep going. Not really Toyota’s fault they make the perfect vehicle for people too busy killing to bother with oil changes.

There will be a couple of Tacomas that are scrapped due to flooding that might be parts donors somehow.
Mine is one of them.

British auto show Top Gear did an episode on it some years back, the basically dropped the thing from a building, set it on fire, dumped it in the ocean, etc. and it still started after all that...
