He's been to Michigan 3 times during this primary season. His father has spent a lot of time here as well. That's more than most GOP candidates make it in a whole election season. I think Romney and McCain were only here twice in their entire campaigns.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:
I think he’s the closest thing we have seen to Ronald Reagan in many years.

We'll see. I'm extremely skeptical. It doesn't matter how many "touches" you have it people aren't "ready to be touched." I have found very little support for Cruz at the conferences I speak at, including a lot of youth conferences. I'd say he draws the hard-core constitutional crowd, Carson clearly is pulling the religious (former Huckabee) crowd, Fiorina draws the "intellectual/elite GOP" crowd, and Trump draws almost everyone else.
For many reasons, I think the notion of these "ground games" is suspect, and the latest "ground game" casualty is Scott Walker, who supposedly had a massive "ground game" in one state and couldn't do squat. We'll see.

I think it will be Trump, Carson, Cruz, then Rubio, but #2,3,4 will have a total of maybe 200 delegates between them and Trump will have the rest.

You mean like the Town Halls Trump holds-—that draw 2000 people? The only difference between Trump’s “grass roots campaign” and Cruz’s is that Trump gets 10 times the people.

Ground game and money. Sounds like someone who’s in for the long haul.
But the media is desperate to have you believe otherwise.

The race is a marathon and we are a long way from the first vote being counted,
*************
Long way........
I guess that is open to one’s meaning. We are less than 4 months from the first primary month
with 133 bound delegates. In the fifth month there are over 1200 bound delegates
selected. So once this begins on Feb. 1, 2016 things will happen quickly.

Does anyone know how much hard money Cruz raised in the third quarter? He never released that total. His campaign spokesman won’t say either.

They will release the number soon enough. What I know is that his campaign has more than 350,000 small donors.
