I’m the same way, I react first and think later. It has served me well, I’ve saved several children from drowning while fully clothed.

A few years ago, there was a gas leak in the lab of the company I worked for. As everyone was evacuating, I ran toward the leak, found it and shut of the gas. Later on, I went to the store and got some yellow Teflon tape and fixed the pipe. It was at a large corporation but since nobody told me not to, I did.
