Russia offers to reopen military talks with Pentagon over Syrian airstrikes

BEIRUT — Russia offered Tuesday to resume talks with the United States on managing separate airstrike operations in Syria, even as the former Cold War foes bicker over Moscow’s objectives in the civil war.

The Russian opening for more military-to-military dialogue was welcomed by the Pentagon after urgent appeals for the Kremlin to keep open channels to discuss its widening air campaign in Syria and ways to avoid possible conflicts.

I think global bad actors have determined that the only ammunition this president has to back up his words are more words.What used to be the military-industrial complex under former Presidents that would relentlessly carpet bomb global hotspots with ordinance to “persuade” enemies to come to their senses has sadly under this administration morphed into the military-verbal diarrhea complex with this President carpet bombing the Middle East with verbal diarrhea for the last 6 years while they successfully go about their business of terrorizing each other as he retreats and cedes leadership to others
